Mill Creek’s local disaster recovery team.

When winter storm runoff pushes the Mill Creek, Nickel Creek, or Penny Creek tributaries toward the North Creek basin, a windstorm drops a limb across your roof near the Country Club, or hidden moisture shows up in a 1980s crawlspace home off Penny Creek Estates, you don’t need a call center — you need a crew that already knows your neighborhood. SwiftDry is IICRC-certified and on-site across Mill Creek day or night.

Your Mill Creek restoration team.

SwiftDry Restoration is an IICRC-certified, locally owned restoration company based in Woodinville, serving homeowners and businesses throughout Mill Creek and the rest of Snohomish County. Whether it’s stormwater backing up along the Mill Creek, Nickel Creek, or Penny Creek tributaries that feed the North Creek basin, wind damage in the mature tree canopy around the Country Club and Town Center, or hidden moisture in an original-era crawlspace home from Mill Creek’s 1970s–80s golf-course-community build-out, our crews are equipped to respond fast and restore it right.

LOCAL RISK PROFILE

What threatens Mill Creek homes — by season.

Restoration isn’t one-size-fits-all, and neither is Mill Creek. The city’s own creek network, mature tree canopy, and original 1970s–80s housing stock create a few recurring loss patterns we’re built to handle.

NOV – MAR

Mill Creek & North Creek basin flooding

The City of Mill Creek’s own Stormwater Management Plan tracks Mill Creek, Nickel Creek, and Penny Creek as they feed the larger North Creek basin on their way toward the Sammamish River through Bothell. Heavy winter rain on low-lying parcels near these tributaries and North Creek Park can mean saturated yards, crawlspace seepage, and basement or ground-floor water intrusion after a big storm system.

YEAR-ROUND

Wind & storm damage

Snohomish County PUD’s territory felt the region’s worst recent windstorm during the November 2024 “bomb cyclone,” which knocked out power to roughly 135,000 customers at its peak and cost the county an estimated $15–16 million in damage — 120 broken poles, 37 miles of downed wire, 93 damaged transformers. Mature trees around the Country Club, Town Center, and North Creek corridor bring down limbs and open roofs to water intrusion that needs fast tarping and board-up.

YEAR-ROUND

Hidden moisture in original-era crawlspace homes

Mill Creek was built out in phases starting with the golf-course community’s first homes in the late 1970s and 1980s, many on wood-framed crawlspaces with OSB subfloors in neighborhoods like the Country Club area and Penny Creek Estates. As that original housing stock ages, slow crawlspace drainage and aging plumbing let small leaks become hidden mold long before anyone sees a stain.

We cannot say enough about how appreciative and grateful we are with Swiftdry Restoration. Christian Answering the phone at 1 AM and being here by 2 AM to get everything going, was a lifesaver. He and his team, Caleb & Josh, coming every day for the next two weeks for dry out and helping us navigate the reconstruction and insurance process as well. Thank you!

I have waited for a day to post a review due to difficulties in choosing the correct words of how excellent SwiftDry has worked diligently in restoring fire/smoke damage in our home. Christian, Caleb & Joshua cleaned all the walls, ceiling,& cabinets in several rooms They will be painting soon. Christian has been very helpful in meeting with our insurance adjuster as well as assisting in getting our furniture moved. Katrina has kept me up to date on timelines. SwiftDry is an exceptional company.

I have to say Christian and his crew (Caleb and Josh) were on top of the problem from the get go. I left my house for six hours and came back to a rainstorm inside my finished downstairs basement, kitchen, and living room. The filter housing on my water filtration system gave way and flooded my home in less than seven hours. I was in full panic mode. Water was pouring through my downstairs lighting fixtures, and everything felt overwhelming. As soon as I shut off the water, I searched for help in the Lake Stevens area and found SwiftDry. I called immediately, and Christian (the owner) was at my front door within 45 minutes. He and his team started the dry‑out process right away. His knowledge and care for his customers are second to none. Christian kept both me and the insurance adjuster informed every single day about what was happening. He even told her that I needed to move into a hotel until the dry‑out was complete, and after a lot of back‑and‑forth, it finally happened. If you have a leak of any kind, I highly recommend SwiftDry and their team as your first choice. This whole situation has been a nightmare for me, but with Christian’s 30+ years of experience, he reassured me that everything would be okay and told me not to stress so much. My house will be restored to its original state before the leak. I’m not familiar with how the insurance process works, like most homeowners dealing with adjusters, but Christian told me it will work out for the best. Having his experience in your corner is a huge advantage and gives peace of mind. Even though I am still waiting on my insurance adjuster’s decision on the damage and payment, I feel great that my house will not have mold in the future. SwiftDry truly came through for me when I needed help the most. This company is highly recommended for anyone needing quick and professional service. Otis Elledge

Worse possible scenario. I was out of town camping over the 4th of July Weekend, when I got some texts and a phone call from my neighbor. He sent me pics of water running down the outside of my house and told me I have a massive leak happening. My kids were close by, so I had them run over and turn off the water supply to the house. I got home within the hour, but the place was a MESS. I called Swift Dry and they responded and were at my house within 40 minutes, and this was at 1:30 in the morning. They were fast responsive and very easy to work with. by 6 am they had the bottom portion of dry wall out and off, carpet up and had set up a plethora of fans and dehumidifiers to start the drying out process. Within 5 days, the place is now ready for rebuild. They did an amazing job and I highly recommend them for any emergency needs that you may need

As a real estate agent, I’ve dealt with my fair share of unexpected situations, but this one was definitely up there. During a showing, we had a water issue in the home that needed immediate attention, and I’m so grateful we found SwiftDry Restoration. Christian, the owner, was incredibly calm, honest, and reassuring from the moment I called him. When you’re in a high-stress situation and trying to protect a home and keep a transaction together, that kind of presence makes a huge difference. He walked me through everything clearly and handled it with a level of professionalism I don’t see often. His team was also extremely respectful of the property. They made sure to put down protective paper to keep the rest of the home clean while they were coming in and out, which I really appreciated as someone responsible for the condition of the home. Christian truly went above and beyond. He even personally came to pick up a check from me so I could avoid credit card fees, which was such a thoughtful and unexpected gesture. Josh, his assistant, was also fantastic. Kind, professional, and worked diligently the entire time. They handled everything quickly, carefully, and with a lot of integrity. As an agent, I will absolutely be recommending SwiftDry to my clients and anyone who needs remediation services.

I called Christian, the owner of SwiftDry early am on a holiday weekend. I had a leak from a toilet in my 1922 home and the team was on site within a few hours. Mitigation and demo were completed swiftly and efficiently. I was also appreciative that they helped with communication to my assigned insurance adjuster and available and responsive to my questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

We recently discovered water damage in our home in Kirkland, and in a situation that usually feels overwhelming, they responded the very same day we called, which was a huge relief (faster than our insurance). They were incredibly professional and took the time to walk us through the entire restoration process. They explained exactly what needed to happen, what the timeline looked like, and how they would handle the damage. They ensured to check-in at the end of every day to make sure that we were comfortable and had any questions with the process. Their communication was top-notch throughout the whole project—we always knew what was happening and when. If you’re looking for a team that is professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about doing the job right, SwiftDry is the one to call.

I am very grateful I found SwiftDry Restoration. After a pipe broke in my finished basement I was left with two inches of standing water which was extremely stressful. I live in Bellevue and their team was on site within an hour and were able to extract the water and have their equipment set up and drying right away. I highly recommend SwiftDry Restoration to anyone dealing with a flooded home and in need of a company that gets the job done quickly and efficiently.
